Talking about Portuguese products leads us to an obvious reference – olive oil – essential in all Portuguese tables and kitchens.
Olive oil is a unique condiment, typical of a Mediterranean diet, with a history of thousands of years, and with beneficial health properties. Some call it “liquid gold” and, in Portugal, we certainly have the best brands of olive oil at our disposal. Use it raw, to finish off a dish, or as an aperitif and a slice of fresh bread.
