We share a passion for Portuguese food products that usually are not present in big retail chains. Not only because of the tradition, the way of manufacture – more or less artisanal – that gives them a unique and genuine flavour, but also because of the product design and the growing trends of slow food and organic production as well the benefits that both bring. We also defend the Portuguese economy with the certainty that it produces with high-quality standards.
And because, in the end, this passion comforts us all and makes us smile!
Grocer’s was founded in 2013 with the mission to overcome small-scale producer barriers, taking their products across the country and around the world. Grocer's benefited from a ten-year journey in the food industry and corporate gift market.
In 2014 Grocer’s bought D. Ermelinda Doçaria Portuguesa, a small brand of traditional products, already in the market. The passion was immediate and the starting point to a new stage linked to Portuguese distribution and direct sales of biscuits and pastry at local markets.
After 2019 Grocer's wanted to improve business and offer a better, clearer, and more effective service. Always with the mission of providing companies and private consumers solutions for Portuguese food product gifting, promoting consumption and interest of portuguese product, as well as its expansion.
We want to be a key company in the portuguese market, well recognised by clients, suppliers, and partners and expand our presence in international markets as a reliable company.
